Services
We emphasize the
importance of 6 month wellness examinations and preventative health
care including vaccinations, parasite prevention, strategic deworming,
dental care, nutrition, senior health screening, client education,
and many other areas of internal medicine. Keeping your pet
healthy involves a relationship between you, your pet and your
veterinarian. Through this cooperation, we can prevent disease
and promote a long and healthy life for your pet.
Surgical Services:
We offer a complete line of surgical services including
orthopedics, soft tissue surgery, spays, neuters, declawing and
much more.
We utilize all of the latest surgical techniques and our technicians
are licensed in anesthetic monitoring. We utilize a CO2 laser surgical unit for all of our surgeries. The
need for surgery can be a
concern for many pet owners. We want to put you at ease by
informing you about the surgical process, recovery, and any potential
complications. Your pet is always a priority to us. Laser Surgery: Less pain for your petLaser
surgery has been widely accepted as a higher standard of care in human
medicine for over 30 years. It presents a host of benefits over
traditional surgery, and in our procedures, we
have replaced the use of the scalpel blade entirely. Less pain: since the laser seals nerve endings as it "cuts", your pet will experience less pain and be more comfortable after surgery. Less bleeding:
Lasers seal small blood vessels during surgery. Because there is less
bleeding, surgery is often completed more quickly which reduces the
amount of time your pet is under anesthesia. This reduces the potential risk for anesthetic complications. Reduced swelling and infection:
There is never a physical contact between the laser and the surgical
site. This eliminates the crushing, tearing and bruising of tissue
associated with
traditional surgical methods. The CO2 laser energy acts as an
antimicrobial/antibacterial agent by producing high temperatures which
effectively eliminate microorganisms. Quick return to normal activities: Healing is rapid and there is less post-operative discomfort and a better course of healing.
Laser Therapy:
MLS (Multiwave Locked System) Therapy is a new therapy for
treating pain, inflammation, and edema and for repairing superficial
lesions.
Benefits of use include:
- Speeds healing and recovery
- Reduces pain and inflammation
- Quick and painless procedure
- Helps reduce the need for drug therapy pain control
- Accelerates tissue repair and cell growth
- Improves nerve function
Some common uses of laser therapy include: - Arthritis
- Post surgical pain reduction
- Acute or chronic injuries
- Swelling and inflammation
- Wounds

Laboratory and X-ray:
Laboratory and X-ray services are an integral part of
diagnosis of disease in veterinary medicine today. Our laboratory
utilizes
IDEXX and Heska laboratory equipment and in house diagnostic
tests. This enables our team to provide most urgent blood tests
in less than one hour. Through the use of cytology, special staining
and parasite collection techniques, we are able to diagnose parasite
infestations and screen for cancer. Our X-ray suite employs a
state-of-the-art x-ray generator which allows
the use of less radiation while providing superior image quality.
X-ray films are developed in 90 seconds. This technology provides
rapid diagnosis and enhances safety for your pet. Boarding Services:
Our goal is to maintain a clean and cheerful boarding facility
for your pet. We provide short-term boarding for both dogs and
cats. Mats, towels, food and litter boxes are provided. We
are happy to accommodate any special needs your pet may have including
medication administration.
House Call Services:

due to transportation or convenience problems. We can meet the
need for quality healthcare for your pets at home by providing a house
